This is a great movie for lengthy consideration, and the shaky narrator is an excellent place to go with it. I love it~! A new movie that people are talking in depth about~! (<i>The Butler</i> is another, though I haven't seen it yet). Also, the idea of the verisimilitude of the narrator is a really interesting thing to think about. It's told from J's point of view. Is she a reliable narrator? Subject of great discussion among my friends and me. While "Midnight in Paris" was his last well-recieved film here in the US, I think this script is on par with "Deconstructing Harry" if you look at it from a literary perspective. I hope Cate is nominated for an Oscar for this work. She was excellent, as was Bobby Cannavale. <br />GinaGinanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22752109.post-87196205728861284242013-08-19T22:13:35.711-05:002013-08-19T22:13:35.711-05:00I really liked this film for many of the same reas...I really liked this film for many of the same reasons you mentioned. However with a big screen t.v. and a large pay channel bill, I'll probably wait for a PPV!jodihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01798858210138821711noreply@blogger.com
