Like It's 1999
Here's a snapshot of me and my pal Amy Spade, the poet, early on New Year's Day 2000. I interviewed her this past spring and intend to start shaping my scrawled notes into a proper post soon. Originally from Metro Detroit, she now lives in San Francisco. Amy hates this shot, but I think it's cute!

thanks ;) Y2K struck on 9/11, I guess. Even that seems ancient now, with the Stone movie coming out next month about it.
