Ye-eeees, the moon a-risin' and the sun is sinking low

The Moon reflects sunlight. It’s cooler than the Sun. The Sun is too direct, too hot and too bright. The Moon remains mysterious.

A sampling of Moon songs:

You can walk in moonlight and not worry about getting moonburned.

You don’t need moonglasses or moontan lotion and don’t need to wear a hat in a moonlit sky.

You won’t get leathery, patchy skin from moonlight, nor risk skin cancer from too much Moon exposure.

If you set your controls for the heart of the Sun, you will burn up; but you can land on the Moon, leave a flag behind, and come back to Earth alive.

You can look directly at the Moon. If you look at the Sun you go blind.

The Sun is always the Sun, but the Moon has phases, it waxes and wanes. Full Moon, Half Moon, New Moon, Harvest Moon, Blue Moon.

The lunar calendar can be divided into 28-day months; the solar calendar varies with each month.

Finally, the Moon was created from the Earth; the Sun will destroy the Earth.

Today's Rune: Movement.

Ciao!

Damn, I haven't heard "Drunk On The Moon" in ages, I'll be looking for that song later, thanks for the reminder.

I love the moon, too! Wish I had a camera that could take good pictures of it!
