Family Time With the Mob

I subscribe to HBO mostly for The Sopranos and a handful of other well-rendered series. Last night was the first episode in the final run of the great Mob family series featuring Tony Soprano and his milieu. It did not disappoint. Besides the interesting family dynamics, Tony has a new little friend for later use. Still, it will be a big bummer when the show is over. Then again, when one door closes another one opens, right? More will be revealed!

Today's Rune: Defense.

Birthdays: Tīmūr bin Taraghay Barlas (Timur the Lame), Charles Baudelaire, Erich Ludendorff, Paul Robeson, J. William Fulbright, Tom Lehrer, Carl Perkins, Tony Soprano (last night).

Ciao! Happy Easter Uprising!

Should I be embarassed? I have never seen an episode of "The Sopranos."

Only a little less than I, JR-- I've seen only one, with my wife, who's a big fan (she lived in Jersey with husband #1). She paid the extra for the pay-cable to get the Sopranos.

I don't know if I'm ripping on the show so much as wondering if I'm not interested because I work with gang people every day at work, and so don't feel like being entertained by them at home during rest time.

Probably my favorite saying from the movies, or at least the one I use the most personally.

You are an endless pit of information. =D It's enjoyable!

And Jim- I didn't see one until A&E started showing them on Wednesdays at 9pm, back to back episodes. It's addicting, if you're into that sort of thing.
