Pleased to Meet You, Hope You Guess My Name!

Today, Mick Jagger turned 64 -- an age that sounds younger every passing year. The lovable rogue* is still jet-setting around and doing whatever the hell he wants. Same devil-may-care attitude that launched him in the first place, only now he has money, kids, and exes galore.

"Back there when I was in school . . ." Performance (1970) with Anita Pallenberg.

"It's good to be the rock star."

Jade Jagger: next generation.

*(phrase lifted from Danny Tagalog's comment re: David Essex a few days ago).

Today's Rune: Movement.

Birthdays: George Bernard Shaw, Carl Jung, Aldous Huxley, Salvador Isabelino Allende Gossens, Blake Edwards, Stanley Kubrick, Mick Jagger, Dorothy Hamill, Kevin Spacey, Jeremy Piven, Kate Beckinsale.

Ciao!

Only Mick Jagger could sing "Let's Spend The Night Together" and get away with it. Years later, in his song "Start Me Up," I believe he says something about making a dead man ... never mind.

Jade Jagger's hot btw.

64: "an age that sounds younger every passing year." Yes, and that's great after that awful piece of Beatles tripe on Sgt. Peppers, courtesy of Establishment Paul.

Still, Jagger's establishment, but from the mysterious dark side still...

Yes, his daughter is a K.O. isn't she.
