During the Cold War, Tom T. Hall put out one of the dumbest songs I've ver heard -- "Down at the Mall." "Down at the Mall/where freddom shines!" His notion of Why We Fight all comers, I guess.
Maybe a part of the price of the Hummer should be to do a year's tour of duty in Iraq.
I've heard that Hummer's actually had historically high rates of problems-- shoddy construction. Serves their owners right.
