Oil and petrol on the climb, so we're substituting, tradng off things, yes? Over time, we'll break out the mothers of invention. Hard to imagine five years from now, unless you're a dystopian. But who knows, really?
What we can know is this: look at a map of OPEC and you'll recognize a lot of crisis points -- manufactured or real. God help us and our driving habits.

Not many people realize this, but most of Amerika's oil comes from Canada, actually. Still, we're getting @$$ raped, either way you look at it.
We need hydrogen.
Ever read "The Long Emergency"? Talk about dystopian. Meantime our politicians continue to get jerked off by the corn lobby and push ethanol, which uses as much energy to produce as it provides. Ugh. I'd better get that rural compound ready sooner than I'd planned.
