Unity

Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Joe Biden, Barack Obama at the Democratic National Convention in Denver -- it's all good, especially sans commentary. C-Span saves the day . . .

From a Town called Hope to The Audacity of Hope . . . Democrats tend to make controversial presidents, though interesting ones. Thomas Jefferson, for instance, Andrew Jackson, James K. Polk, Grover Cleveland, Woodrow Wilson (one of my least favorite), FDR, Harry Truman, JFK, LBJ, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton and soon . . . Barack Obama? Since the "Revolution of 1800," what a long strange trip it's been . . .

Today's Rune: Fertility.

I feel that Clinton had a lot more potential than he exhibited. Had he been able to control his urges a bit he might have accomplished so much more.

Clinton's was ghosted. Obama can write, but he can't fight.--Patton
