Mission San José y San Miguel de Aguayo

Part of today, revisited Spanish missions in and near San Antonio. Beautiful architecture, with evident Islamic Moorish influence (especially clear with original paint scheme as rendered in a model of the original -- looks to me almost Byzantine). Amazing to see such grounds and buildings in the USA. The Franciscans maintain a living presence, with Catholic services.

More tomorrow, after the return trip.

Today's Rune: Flow.

This structue does look Spanish and could have Islamic influence but I can't tell from that picture
