Baby, It's Cold Outside II: When Detroit Raved On

Motor Lounge / Motor Detroit, Hamtramck. Various artifacts here, including the official Lords of Acid aftrparty flyer. Maximum Overload disc given away at Motor on March 3, 2000. It was cold outside, hot inside. Who else now remembers Motor?

Today's Rune: Wholeness. Happy Birthday, Trent Vanegas!

Lords of Acid. Now there sounds like a good clean cut all American band.

I've just been getting into Lords of Acid. I was so surprised when my friend showed them to me, I never knew that they were women!

There has been so much and so many house music DJ's from here i can't keep them apart anymore. But I do know I have heard that beat before.

Sadly, the Metro Times ain't what it used to be. As for DJ's, remember Doug Podell? He's a program director at one of the radio stations in Detroit. His daughter joined the Channel 4 news after they had tryouts.
