Back to one of my favorite subjects: coffee. I love it, and have since a teenager. In my family, when pots are brewed, usually any remainder is poured into a vacuum flask Thermos or Stanley Classic Vacuum Bottle for later. We drink a lot of coffee.
On the other hand, over the Independence Day holiday, while visiting friends I was won over by the Keurig coffee maker, featuring the individual K-Cup. Essentially, the Keurig lets you make individual cups of coffee throughout the day, as desired. For someone like me, this is a godsend, especially when around people who don't like coffee much. (K-Cups are also available with tea and hot chocolate). To my pleasant surprise, Target carries Keurig coffee makers and K-Cup refills. The Keurig also works with a reusable filter called the My-K Cup that you can fill with any ground coffee. A K-Cup costs about 55 cents, available at Target in boxes of eighteen. Nifty-fifty! SuperTargets carriy even more variety. The bigger size Keurig coffee maker I chose was $99 -- and worth every penny.
Keurig is part of Vermont-based Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, which also sells Newman's Own Organics. Great idea for gifts. Bigger models are made for the workplace, too. For more, do see:

Man I'd run through ten packets before 9 am. I was just thinking of an industrial size vat brewer.
Erik-- OK, I have been obstinately avoiding those things--just cuz I am a purist when it comes to my joe. Maybe, at your recommendation, I will quit biting my nose to spite my face and try it!
Now if they could make this in a beer brewer I'd go for it.
I'm with The Walking Man on this one. I like to brew mine by the buckets.
