More changes for reader-writer folks. Editor & Publisher, the big newspaper journal, is going under after a long swim that began in 1901.

And so goes Kirkus Reviews, putting more pressure on publications like Library Journal to provide a lighted gateway from books to libraries and book stores. Anyway you cut it, the internet will play a bigger role in publishing of all kinds.

The dying by a thousand cuts of the paper and ink industry is one of the million tragedies of the still emerging age powered by digits and technology. *sigh*
As usual, I think I got into the printed word biz a bit late. Kirkus is certainly in the news this morning.
I no longer keep my writing material on paper; it's all 0's & 1's.
