I'm looking forward to Floria Sigismondi's The Runaways, set at this juncture for a March 19, 2010 release. All-girl rock band, 1970s, what's not to love?
Got to see Joan Jett rock Charlotte, North Carolina, in the early 80s. She was incredibly cool -- actually blew the Police off the stage, even though she opened for them. The difference between hard rock and slightly poncified elevator music, maybe.

Erik, didn't but would have loved to see JJ!
They play a lot of Ms. Jett on Little Steven's Underground Garage-- it's given me a better appreciation of her and the Runaways. They've mentioned the movie a few times.
