Pleased to report the arrival of a new globe for my office. Loving it, reconsidering how "TIME EQUALS SPACE ON YOUR GLOBE." Endlessly fascinating, mesmerizing to look over. Already traveling the "great circle routes" in my imagination . . . Take a string and determine the most direct route between points . . . Buenos Aires is only eleven hours from New York City by air; thirteen from London. . .
Latitudes, longitudes, time zones, degrees, minutes, High Noon, Greenwich Mean Time, the globe spinning through space: mind-blowing.
Seems like a good time got to roll out the globe bar a la Mad Men . . .
