Sara Lamm: Dr. Bronner's Magic Soapbox

Will report more in the fairly near future on Sara Lamm's Dr. Bronner's Soapbox (2006, 2009 DVD). Love this documentary about Dr. Bronner and his ideas, his natural soap products, his family and background.

In the meantime, who as tried any of Dr. Bronner's products over the years? If you have, what do you remember about the labeling?

Today's Rune: Defense.

I'd like to introduce you to my grandfather's magic apples products, which could cure anything apparently (never met the man). He has testimonials from everyone in his family. But I can't figure out how to download it.

Great movie. I remember using Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Soap when I was a kid. I would sit and read the label over and over. It was verrrry trippy. All One! All Brave! All Life! It was one of the most bizzare things I'd ever read. My father used to bring it out for guests to read.

Magic apples? Do tell . . .

Electric Blue -- agreed. Need to try some more. I remember the almond at one point many moons ago.

Dude. You just took me back to a pension in Barcelona, standing under the shower with peppermint suds all over me, trying to read all that trippy, psychedelic, tiny tiny *tiny* print!

Good times... :-)
