Freedom of Assembly Redux

Globally, wild times. From a culturally longer perspective, 2011 is one of those banner years like, say, 1968 or 1848. From inside the middle of it, 2011 seems not quite 1776, 1789, nor 1917/1918.

Like a renewable wedding with history, 2011 features something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. The new includes the velocity and amplifying effects of information technology combined with a much larger world population and physically changing global climate. Borrowed and indeed old are many ideas resurfacing from the past. Blue is the tinge of anxiety about the future, perhaps the realization that the perfect society, the perfect world is unattainable, that we're all mortal beings, flawed agents of choice and destiny.

2012 is coming fast, and with it, more upheaval, conflict, debate, choice and destiny. And the wheel spins on even as the latest status quo dissolves.

Today's Rune: Initiation.

As soon as someone mentioned class warfare they immediately implied that though even the armaments may be uneven in size and scope, that both sides are armed.

When the larger army realizes that collectively their weapon, money is more equal in scope than realized, then it will be game on.

As soon as people stop consuming and trying to get Wall Street, hedge fund rich the war is over. and the larger army of flesh and blood wins in all ways.

yeah, 2011 hasn't been a picnic. I'm not thinking 2012 will be either.

EVERYTHING SEEMS TO BE TOPSY TURVY.
THE SCREW UPS GET REWARDED WITH BONUSES. THE TOP ECHELON MISTAKES ARE PAID FOR BY THE BOTTOM WORKERS WHO HAVE DONE NOTHING WRONG.

THE CITIZENS REMAIN BLIND AS TO WHO IS DOING THE MOST FOR THEM AND FALL PREY TO FEAR MONGERERS, POLITICAL JINGOISM AND VOTE FOR THE ONES WHO DO THE LEAST FOR THEM AND OUR COUNTRY.
