Fukushima One Year Later



















In the year since the 311 Earthquake and Fukushima nuclear disaster, the casualty count has been refined to about 15,000 killed and 3,000+ missing. Japan's nuclear industry has been completely disrupted, as might be expected, and worldwide, a greater sense of urgency has been brought to energy production and, to some degree, safety procedures.

In a word: nightmare.

What a huge toll Japan has paid. I do hope something has been learned related to the energy stuff.
