Jeffrey M. Pilcher's Planet Taco: A Global History of Mexican Food
























Offically released today, Jeffrey M. Pilcher's Planet Taco: A Global History of Mexican Food (Oxford University Press, USA, October 1, 2012) takes the world to Mexico and Mexico to the world. Pilcher looks to show the interplay between culture and food, historical power and food choices expanding beyond the constraints of geographical borders and socio-economic class. This delves far and deep into the history of Mexican food from a global perspective. Awesome!
