Rhythm, Riots and Revolution

Dig this 1966 gem of a book! Thanks to its author's gifts of insight, we now know that Bob Dylan hypnotized American youth into traitorous actions and Godless communism. Thank God for this nation-saving book!
Now we are free to fight Islam with everything we've got! Even with cartoons!

Bob Dylan is still causing trouble, that rascal. He refused to sign off on Factory Girl, so the character based largely on him has been turned into a composite of Mick Jagger, Jim Morrison, and Dylan. Lou Reed hates it! To get the Edie Sedgwick story right, we'll probably have to wait for a suitable interval a la the Johnny Cash and June Carter saga, Walk the Line. Meanwhile, let's hope this isn't too generic.

George Hickenlooper, the director, has made several documentaries. Has anyone seen this one? Picture This: The Times of Peter Bogdanovich in Archer City, Texas (1991)? I'm intrigued! I certainly liked Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker's Apocalypse (1991) about the making of Apocalypse Now!

In haste, adieu for now . . . . don't stir up any more riots or anything, children . . . .

Love this post. Puts me in the mind of such rabblerousers as Wayne Newton and Conway Twitty. They're both fierce, not to mention rocking the hair product.
