(There Will Always Be A) Moon Over Marin

Hello, baaaaby!
Yeah, this is the Big Bopper speakin'
Ha ha ha ha ha! oh, you sweet thing!
Do I what? will I what?
Oh baby, you knoooow what I like!

Chantilly lace and a pretty face
and a ponytail hangin' down
A wiggle in her walk and a giggle in her talk
Make the world go round

Ain't nothing in the world like a big eyed girl
To make me act so funny, make me spend my money
Make me feel real loose like a long necked goose
Like a--oh baby, that's a-what I like!
What's that, baby? But... but... but... oh, honey!
Oh baby, you know what I like!

Chantilly lace and a pretty face and a ponytail hangin' down
A wiggle in her walk and a giggle in her talk
Make the world go round
Ain't nothing in the world like a big eyed girl
To make me act so funny, make me spend my money
Make me feel real loose like a long necked goose
Like a--oh baby, that's a-what I like!

Bollywood Rising. First we made fun of Made in Japan. Then we made fun of Made in China. Next we made fun of Bollywood. Haha -- joke's on us: next thing you know is "may I help you with your credit card, sir?"

In any case, Mallika Sherawat is competitive on a global scale is how I see it . . . . . .

As is Franco-Vietnamese-American sensation Tila Tequila. And yeah, I once knew a Spanish teacher named Margarita Drinker. She was as brave in her own way as Ms. Tequila, whose hair, if you hadn't guessed, is "blonde by choice." Indeed. In her case, black or blonde both probably work just fine. But then, I've always liked anything Vietnamese on account of the war, I suppose. I'd sell Vietnamese products if I could figure out how to do it right. Maybe call the enterprise "Rainbow Bridge."

Today's Rune: Journey.

Happy birthday to those above, and more!

The Love of My Life: 1980s Version used to always sing "Chantilly Lace" to me.

*sigh*

In a similar but different vein, I have been acquainted w/the following people;
Sunny Ray
Ben Guay (last name pron. "gay")
Gene Poole
William Williams
Tex S. Tee
Some people just really didn't want kids, I guess!

Moon Over Marin popped up on my Ipod on the way home from work tonight! Love that song! I always thought the irony of the song was the actual beautiful melody of the song with it's message. Still dig the Dead Kennedys.
