Territorial Democracy: Space vs. Mass

Obama-leaning in blue, more than enough to win the election via electoral votes. 348-174-15 as of today. Track this daily at http://www.electoral-vote.com/!

In this weighted map (template developed by Paul-Henri Gurian, University of Georgia), check out the population density and electoral power of, say, Democratic California vs. Republican Alaska. It also becomes clear that Texas is the only really big Republican stronghold. This one postulates a tighter race, with Obama still winning.

Seeing as how this election has de-evolved, I think it is time to get UN observers in place. Didn't the map have similar proportions in 2000?

I noticed Obama wore a blue tie and McCain wore a red one. It's the Crips and Bloods at the national level.
