There's a Moon in the Sky (Called the Moon)

The Moon, cloning, creepy consciousness, space oddities: Duncan Jones' (Joey/Zowie Bowie's) movie Moon (2009) reminds me of Douglas Trumbull's Silent Running (1972), Robert Parrish's Doppelgänger / Journey to the Far Side of the Sun (1969), et alia. Eerie, disconcerting stories. But still, I dig.

Today's Rune: Defense.

Erik, can you believe that they either lost or taped over the original video? And they call ME spacey...

I'd seen the trailer, but had no idea that the movie was by the son of the guy who did "Space Oddity."

Oh man I want to see this. I love the music, it tottally set the tone because as soon as it started playing I just thought, 'I feel so lonely'. And that computer voice is so creepy! It reminds me of Hal!
