Mystery in Blue

This place is strange: a house on a small piece of land in Fort Worth, covered like a series of bottle trees, only the glassy objects look almost like blue-tinged Christmas ornaments and are strung together like the Golden Gate Bridge.

As a setting for a story, yes. But in "reality," what do you think's going on here? Protection? Magic? Madness? An outdoor artistic statement of some kind -- like the Heidelberg Project in Detroit?

Another blue-tinged mystery, this on a pole outside Spiral Diner today. Paper notices, including one for three bands at the "Where House" on Hemphill, July 19, 2012. Weird, man.

Today's Rune: Defense.

That is so pretty! I loves it. I think this should be a roadtrip stop one day.

A persistent reminder to not throw stones?

Perhaps they're just having fun. But it's pretty interesting.

Erik, that's just got to be an art installment. I think it's gorgeous. I love the 'preferaply' on the sign!
