Whether king of rock and roll or one of the first of the neo-con hypocrite generation; Elvis did it all.
Glad Bowie made it this far.
I had never heard Bowie's version of Pablo Picasso before...and I had NO idea he shared a birthday with Elvis. It's funny, I was just telling my bride that you never even think of Elvis and Bowie existing at the same time, but in 1969 a 34 year old Elvis was releasing "Suspicious Minds" and playing Las Vegas, and a 22 year old Bowie was releasing "Space Oddity".
I'm betting there was not a lot of cross over back then in their fan bases.
"I'm afraid of Americans"
And Jimmy Page is 65.
Bowie's 62...really? No way...Jeeze. At some point in life you just stop & say, "What the hell? Where did all of that TIME go?"
