A Telegram for Mr. Q

1. If the Medium is the Message is the Massage, what does that make the Highs and Lows?
2. If in 1968, as Warhol quipped, "In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes," is the then-future now or still in the future?
3. If Twitter is the new Beatles, what is the new Rolling Stones?
5. If Prince is fifty, does The Artist Formerly Known as Prince still exist in the woods?
6. If Madonna is fifty, how old is Jesus now?
7. If Michael Jackson is fifty, what does "It" mean by his "This is It" tour?
8. If Elvis was forty-two in 1977, where is he now?
9. If That Revolution was Number Nine, why is Charles Manson still alive, John Lennon dead?
10. Will The Revolution be Live, or another opiate of the messengers?
Actually, a massage sounds pretty good right now.

A cynic suspects that all revolutions are controlled by the rulers.

I remember studing Marshall M. in a mass media class in high school. Of course, "being of an age", I had to Wiki him to remember what I learned. It's hell gettin' old.

I think that Blogger is the new Rolling Stones-- dirtier, grittier, more rock and roll.

I love the scene in Annie Hall where Alvy (Woody Allen's character) is stuck behind a guy in a theater line who is a pompous idiot who is misquoting McLuhan. Alvy refutes him, and pulls McLuhan over to back up his argument.
