The War Tapes
The Haditha massacre, Abu Ghraib, Gitmo, open fire season in Kabul after an American traffic accident -- this is what happens . . . Once again, way to go, Ohio for giving us the USA at its worst for a second term. And thank you Florida for the first time around. Everybody knows it by now -- an Al Gore presidency would have been much better for the world, or at least not quite as horrible. And Bill Clinton might still be at play in the White House.
As an American citizen, I hold our government accountable for war crimes, some of them proven, some of them alleged but fairly obvious. We have no business putting fellow citizens in situations that easily get out of control. It's asking for evil. And the backlash is heinous.
Here's the latest film, The War Tapes, shot by U.S. National Guard troops. Add it to the list of telling Iraq War films.

Erik- How does one get ahold of such a thing as The War Tapes? It sounds highly interesting and I'm quite curious about war-type things.
=D
Cheri,
I'm sure this'll come out on DVD soon, but meanwhile, anyone can petition to get a showing in Metro Detroit via their website. They also have clips on the site. "If your city isn't listed, and you want to see The War Tapes in a theatre near you, sign up on our Frappr map and we'll try and make it happen!"
