Kubrick and Kafka Meet Kierkegaard on a Train

I don't know about you, but to me something seems a little eerie about this photo. Is this a Stanley Kubrick moment? It's supposed to show proto-hepcats on a British train, before the Second World War. Won't you join us for a drink? A vignette for each character is in order, or haiku.

Trains can be dangerous, maybe a little more exciting than people bargain for. Except for Mr. Bond, of course. That's Pelham 1-2-3, Mr. Blue.

A toast to The Great Patriotic War: Nostrovia, comrades -- from Russia with love!

Eric, what a cool pic. I love all the formality of the ladies. Nostrovia, indeed!
