Stroh's Is Spoken Here
Day of the Great Beer Summit: Samuel Adams (Gates), Blue Moon (Crowley), Bud Light (Obama), Buckler (Biden). Only Sam Adams is decent of these. Bud Light is swill (and pandering to the vast middle, I think, much as I enthusiastically support Obama), Blue Moon is a Molson Coors mediocrity (drink real Belgian beer instead), and don't even ask about Buckler. Just about any American microbrewery makes something decent, no doubt; same for European microbreweries, Japanese, Chinese, Australian, West Indian, and so on. How do you rate beer, if you drink it?

Shit...if you're going to drink go for the good stuff. Shine.
"Mr. President what say we get together over a mason jar of good old Virginia corn liquor?"
Nothing will loosen the tongue faster and make the truth of the thinking come out quicker.
Red stripe is the only one of those three I really like.
The hoppier the better, in my book. Pale Ales. I'm not actually supposed to be drinking it, because I have Celiac Disease-- no wheat, barley or rye. But one can only drink so much wine.
If Peter Bloom, Stroh's historian and author (Wayne State University Press) were still alive, he could give us his expertise. My wife and I used to have fascinating discussions with him regarding beer selection. As for micro-Brews: You certainly wouldn't like The Weeping Radish. No one likes The Weeping Radish.
i happen to like dark beer, even in the summer
