People Power
The nonviolent (or relatively nonviolent) social revolution in Egypt is unfolding not like a typical coup d'état initiated by one set of elites to replace another. This is more like the People Power Philippines Revolution (1986), but aided and accelerated by cutting edge satellite media coverage, Twitter, Facebook, blogs, wireless technology and all that jazz. Most of the violence seems to have been initiated by the forces of the status quo, and mostly seems to have backfired.
Today's buzzing synergies are palpable and much more proactive and pragmatic than, say, during the Deepwater Horizon disaster just last year. They seem to be of a higher and more concentrated human energy level.
What proceeds next we can only guess, but rippling and mirroring effects are already evident. Glad to be alive to see these developments. No status quo is assured, and everything changes. (Tags tracked by Google Ngram Reader above: tipping point, synergy, coup d'état, synchronicity).
Today's Rune: Journey.

It is wonderful. Seems like truly a New World start to manifests.
It's amazing. Aside from Molotov Cocktails, no bombs yet. That in itself is refreshing. And if we're born to communicate, be social and sociable, it's being manifested here and now. This is the way it can be . . .
