Marker for Laura June Wetmore (1817-1860) and her husband Theophilus Hunter Holmes (1804-1880), West Point graduate and Lieutenant General, Confederate States of America, same class as Joseph Eggleston Johnston (1807-1891) and Robert Edward Lee (1807-1870). Commanded the failed attack on Helena, Arkansas, on July 4, 1863. Jeremiah C. France (1840-1865), an ancestor, was on the defending Union side of the same battle.
