The Spirit of St. Louis Redux

Brief stop in St. Louis on the way back to Texas -- in between storms. Long enough to snap this shot through glass at Lambert–St. Louis International Airport, which was heavily damaged by a tornado in 2011. There are storm shelters in evidence, which is good because rough weather seems to come through the area with alarming frequency. Also glimpsed the brightly lit New Busch Stadium (Cardinals), the Gateway Arch and the flooded Mississippi River. Good beans for a short visit. I want very much to return to the city proper to conduct research at the Mercantile Library, among other places. The mind-blowing Cahokia Mounds are nearby, too -- here's a UNESCO World Heritage site link: http://whc.unesco.org/en/list/198.

Today's Rune: Partnership.
